Wings Over Water, by Alan Marshall is a 192 page hardback book of a collection of water bird-themed printmaking by 50 artists. It features linocuts, collagraphs, woodcuts, screenprints, etchings and wood engravings and there are around 320 original prints reproduced in total. Each bird is described, with information on habitat, conservation status etc. Artists provide their own commentary on the birds and the printmaking process. Some working drawings and blocks/plates are included.

Written, designed, produced, printed and published in Norfolk.

Alan has extensive experience as a journalist, author, book designer, and photographer. He has written on topics as diverse as guitar collecting, ceramics, ornithology, motor sports, aviation, photography, art, shipping, energy, engineering and travel.  He is responsible for the written content and design of most of the Mascot Media titles.
